Illustration

Here are some of my favorite illustrations that I have created over time. Continue to check back for updates and additions!

Cthulhu

This illustration was one that took quite a long time to finish. I included both the rough sketch and the grayscale image to allow for some perspective into the depth of this work. I used Adobe Photoshop for everything, including the sketch, as Photoshop is my preferred choice compared to Adobe Illustrator. I used stock photos consisting of jellyfish, a snail, elephant skin, octopus tentacles, bread dough, and the rainbow color shown when oil is washed off of the patio, in order to add textures to the illustration. This illustration is largely inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and his credit for creating Cthulhu.

Megadeth Adaptation

This illustration was actually a remake of something that I made for a class, years ago. The first image shown was a project that involved making a poster for a band. Being a huge Metal fan, I decided to make a poster for Megadeth. The skeleton is their official mascot, named Vic Rattlehead, and all I ended up doing was cutting him out (along with the lightning bolts), and making a new background. Fast forwarding to now, I decided I wanted to adapt Vic into my own style. I made everything in Adobe Photoshop, including the sketch. I decided on a style that looks similar to an oil-based painting. I removed his mouth and smoothed out the texture. I added an eerie red background resembling blood. My plan for this illustration is to remake it again, except this time with more texture and refinement.
